The Ukrainian Museum of Canada, Ontario branch presents Basket Weaving with Paper Workshop with Lyudmila Derkach

Learn how to weave your own chick, duckling or pencil holder using specially treated paper. Participants will learn what paper weaving is, how to cut and prepare the paper and then how to weave it into various shapes. All supplies will be provided.

Lyudmila Derkach is from Kyiv, Ukraine. She has been living in Toronto for three years since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Weaving with paper has been her favorite hobby for eight years. She loves weaving herself and very much enjoys teaching others, both adults and children.
