🎲 Casino Royale: Night of Music, Games, and Community
On October 24, St. Volodymyr Institute transformed into a glittering, high-energy lounge for Casino Royale — a festive fundraiser that brought together community members, students, volunteers, and longtime friends of SVI.
What unfolded was more than an evening of games and glamour – it was a powerful reminder of how much our community can create when we come together.
Chips, Cards, and Friendly Competition
Roulette wheels spun, cards snapped against green felt, and poker chips clinked as guests tested their luck at blackjack and poker tables led by professional dealers.
Playful rivalries and spirited cheers filled the rooms as players competed for fun categories like Best Poker Face, Highest Wins, Best Casino Spirit, and of course, Best Dressed.
Beyond the games, Casino Royale’s true win was the shared sense of purpose. Every laugh, conversation, and hand of cards helped support SVI’s mission to keep Ukrainian culture thriving in Toronto.
Thanks to everyone who attended, volunteered, performed, or contributed, this year’s event became a reminder of what makes SVI special — a place where culture, connection, and community come together.
