Introducing the Harbord Street Map: A Neighbourhood Guide from SVI

We’re excited to mark Neighbours Day with the official launch of the Harbord Street Map — a curated guide to the cafés, bakeries, bookstores, shops, and hidden gems that make our neighbourhood so special.

As a Ukrainian cultural institute rooted in Toronto’s South Annex, St. Volodymyr Institute is proud to be part of a vibrant and diverse community. Just steps from Spadina Station and the University of Toronto, Harbord Street offers a unique mix of old charm and new energy, and we want to help you discover it.

Whether you’re a student looking for a cozy study café, a local searching for the perfect pastry, or a first-time visitor exploring the area, our new Harbord Street Map is your invitation to explore some of our favourite spots:

You can view the map online at stvolodymyr.org/harbord — just click on a business name to learn more about what they offer. From independent bookstores to specialty shops and iconic eateries, each listing is a small piece of the local fabric we love so much.

Prefer paper? Printed maps and posters will be available for free pickup at St. Volodymyr Institute (620 Spadina Avenue).

We invite you to stroll through the neighbourhood, support local, and share what you find. Tag us in your Harbord discoveries and use #HarbordStreetMap to join the conversation.

See you on Harbord!
